Hi,

Just launched... take a look at here [techcrunch.com] and here [gigaom.com] and here [searchenginejournal.com]...

Google Co-op Launches [google.com]

This is the most significant product from google this year and will have a direct impact on its bottomline

Well... i have start with atleast 3 niche search engines already... working on them currently...

This is definetly disruptive idea...

Cheers

ok thanks, i got it...

when you include the search box into the results.html the ä ö ü will not work - but if you don't use another search box into the result page - it works ...

i used now an iframe to include the searchbox

Hi! Folks,

I have been following this discussion with great interest and when I saw what the CSE could achieve I jumped up and down and set up a niche search site. [Even though I am an absolute zero when it comes to coding:-)] I envisioned this site as one that would have an army of volunteers refining search in my area of interest.

Or so I thought.

Now that I have my site I realise that I cannot get volunteers to contribute to the search when it is on my site. Is that the case or am I missing something here?

Can I host the search on my site and still get volunteers to contribute?

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Ciao

yes

you can do both - set it up and the send invites to volunteers via the contributors panel in the CSE control panel.
