Sorry, can't see any changes on those DCs for any of my keywords in a range of industries. Perhaps it's just the same old localised flux we saw all of last month. I'm still not convinced it's an update (though I'd like to see one).
Serps remain the same.
Pr remains the same.
Major changes to positioning of multiple sites that had taken a dip that I was ignoring but out of the corner of my eye did make some small changes to.
I don't think it is settling anytime soon. My observation is that fresh is good, but that google doesn't always keep up with it... reverts to old stuff.
I'd agree with that, 18 months ago.
A relatively minor change can appear to have dramatic effects for some and in some areas.
Consider, hypothetically, Google filters out any pages/sites with a keyword density of, say, 5.1%. If they simply dropped it to 4.9% then in some areas serps could be tipped upside down and sites could disappear.
Whilst dramatic for some personally, that would still only be a minor tweak and hardly an important update
From a SERPs standpoint, I've lost some ground. I would expect to do better after a update to SERPs.
My guess is this:
Based on the FACT that this update was given a name, that something is ABOUT to happen. (Unless of course, Brett is losing control - which I doubt.) Also since we have not seen GG asking us for feedback on the new SERPs, I suspect the best / worst is yet to come.
Isn't the logical order IBL -> SERPs -> PR?

Sometimes the black hats win and white hats lose.Yes, and whatever hat you wear if you know you do it well, just keep doing it and forget about them until there is something to interpret that requires change. Most likely it is over more than one cycle that you would be looking. Most likely experience of years on the search engines is a huge advantage.
The "72" datacentres have all the old unfixed listings back in them, and the cache is from before last Christmas.
Some of the top spots for a few of my sectors are filled with spam, crap, one is a blog with nothing but hundreds of KW.

I'm seeing heavy Googlebot activity, which is always the case before and after an update.
If it was a PR/BL update... I do not think is deserves to be named.
They are on top for SEO my city, because I have a text Link on the bottom of their page saying SEO by my.com
Its like lets pick the least relevent site, that contains any of those KW's.
1. Brett does have contacts at the plex
2. He is likely to know if an update is scheduled
3. It doesn't seem there is an update happening yet
4. If this wasn't an update he wouldn't have put it on the home page and surely wouldn't have named it
5. Since he has named it there is probably an update on the way and we just haven't seen major evidence of it yet.
