From the original post on JavaScript Menu System, I was hoping that someone could show me how to actually use the code to initially hide all layers and then show a layer that is clicked.

You'll have to remind us, which "post on JavaScript Menu System" do you mean.

There are many ways to create a javascript menu system. There are also lots of ways to hide menus. Which of these is used is dependant on what methods you adopt to create your javascript menu system in the first place.
