Pause onload music file when other video file is loaded

Hello Guys,

I have problem pausing onload MP3(music file) when other video of the page is loading. at the time of other video is loading, two music sounds ie. one of the video and other of onload MP3 music is heard., how can i pause the onload MP3 music when other video is loaded. i have put function stopPlay()to stop the onload music when other video is loaded, but it doesnt seems to work on all the computer/browsers, here' are the details you may look into:

on the index page, you may hear two sounds, one is of the video you loaded and others is of onload music file; now how can i pause or stop the onload music file when the video is loaded, you may check the function stopPlay(); that i have done to function, but its not working as expected.

Not that this answers your question ... But how about just skipping the onload sound altogether! It is a huge turnoff for visitors. Not to mention the problems it causes. You have already experienced some. Also consider the effect it has on dial-up users.

I understand it, but client is after all client, and they need onload music being played when someone comes to website :)
