JS scroll bars broken by relative positioning.

Just changing containing div to position relative breaks it.

The only difference between these two pages is that in the second, the div that contains the absolutely placed div is position: relative.

both are set up:

body->container->content->contentClip->scroll

Unfortunately, this is for a site that has to be centered in the window by spec, no negotiation on that point, nor on the idea that using non-system scrolls is a bit silly.

I don't have the faintest idea of why this would be breaking just because I'm positioning w.r.t to the container div instead of the body.

I recommend popping over to the CSS forum [webmasterworld.com] with this question.

Good luck.
