Mouseover Image Transitions with JS

I remember surfing onto a site that had an image that if pointed at would dissolve into another image. However, the dissolve wasn't clean, it heavily pixelated the first image and when it came out of pixelation it was the new one. I liked the effect, anyone know how I can set that up?

Choose the Transitions radio option, and then Choose Pixelate from the select box.

I'm figuring out how to fine tune the html to get things displayed on the page just right, but otherwise thats a pretty cool script provider.
