while printing,it displays Footer details which looks bad while printing,its possible to reset footer from print setup
I am looking for some automated way to reset the footer so that it dont appear during printing

It is a setting in the user's browser, so it's up to the user to decide whether the header/footer should be printed. There are some ActiveX components out there that give you control over the headers and footers - if the user agrees to install the component, and if he uses IE on Windows.
There is no javascript command to hide the footer.

Sounds like an easy way to drive away business. I don't suggest messing with vistors computers, they will blame you for everything even if you didn't do it.
