With AJAX technique (as from what I have read so far it's a series of various technologies that are referred to in their technique of combined usage) would I be able to have my site without frames and act like my site (live link in my profile) acts now? Right now I have the lower right frame that plays music while you can browse various pages during the same song. When the song completes it loads a new page in that frame which will play the next song. With frames I have been able to achieve this, however I can not rid myself of the frame border with proper XHTML unless I break in to quirks mode.
I am also curious if I will be able to compile a whitelist via htaccess for acceptable browsers and setup redirects for each browser. To do this I would also need to have a reliable list of all browsers or major browsers (MSIE, KHTML, Opera, Gecko) and which versions would support Ajax. Again I'm completely new to this and I'd be willing to embrace this technology and showcase it for others to learn from if I could get a very helpful reply or set of replies. :-)
