Javascript & IE problem

Simple question IE6 and Javascript:

When you click on a javascript link in some web sites in IE-6 it will not open a new window or the next page.

I have to copy the link and paste it into another new window.

Example:

javascript:ol('http://www.magnetmail.net/ls.cfm?r% ..... etc ...... .html');

I delete the ...

Javascript:ol(' ..... '); It will then open the page.

I know this is a small problem, but I would like the problem to go away .... Thanks ... Dave

install all the security updates of IE, provided by Microsoft website.
