Problem with </form>

Can anyone tell me why I'm having a problem with our search form. The dark purple table at the top of our pages as shown here is appearing correctly.

However from within our ecommerce directory (/acatalog), I cannot close the form because if I do it causes the "ad to cart" button to perform a search!

Without closing the form the search works but the height of the table is increased as though there is a hard break.

This simply does not look good, I need the site to be more coherent.

I'm sure it's some stupid error am overlooking, can you guys help?

Thanks!

Ah. I found the problem. You specified the height of a cell. In the first example, you included a manila-yellow bar. This took up some of the space. In the second example, there's no bar to fill the space, so it simply makes the purple bar larger. BTW, the charter asks you not to post personal URLs. Also BTW, this would be more of a job for the HTML dept.
