I have a button "ASSIGN". Upon clicking this button i want a new window to be opened which is of small size(i dont want the window to be maximised or anything). How do i do that? That apart how do i design that page so that it looks just like the others.

I don't want to be rude, but please do a search on Google for window.open , and you'll find 959.000 links to pages with references and examples.
About the design question: you can load any html page into the new window, so that shouldn't be a problem.
