How to exclude empty textfields in form on submit

Well, i've been trying for a while, and i don't seem to come up with any solution.

My problem is: i dont want the empty textfields that i have in my form to show when i recieve the mail that the user submitted.
Although it should be allowed to leave textfields empty...

I'm not the best webdesigner so i don't really know where to begin the java script and how to finish it...
Asked this question once before, got a hint about removeChild(), but i don't have a clue about how to implement or event how the script looks like!

Are you processing the form on the server or is this a mailto?
