radio buttons and visibility

I've figured out how to make layers and fields appear and disappear using dropdown boxes, and navigation-type buttons, but can I do it with radio buttons?

ie: o Bronze o Silver o Gold

are each types of listings, you can only choose one

so when Silver is chosen, I want 3 more fields to display to gather further information -- can I do this? and if so, are there any samples out there?
