When looking at a new pay per click program. Aside from using Alexa to look at traffic levels and also seeing who their main distributors are, how else can you analyse their traffic levels.

I say this because there are a lot of new programs out there who offer free trials with no commitment, so I dont mind testing the quality as it wont cost me anything, However I dont want to spend a while setting up accounts unless they have traffic levels. Please advise me.

Thanks.

If a company isn't willing to fund some amount of a free trial they aren't legit. And don't try and let them talk you into a 'matching funds' enticement...still a scam.

Nope these two companies are offering a free $30 and free $50 trial respectively with no commitment.

They say I dont even have to deposit a single penny so im not worried about them being scams. I just want to know ways to measure their traffic levels.

I recently tested Kanoodle for their $10.00 trial offer, I didn't had to give them my CC info, nor upload any founds.
Good they have the trial, so I could verify the quality of their traffic.

If a company does not agree to a 100% free trial for even a small amount they are a total scam.

LOL guys, they have agreed to free trials.
I just want to know if there is any other way to look at their traffic levels, apart from using Alexa.

You could take a look at their reach via Nielson, comScore, and Hitwise, instead of their traffic. It is my opinion that reach is equally important and while it may not give exact traffic numbers, it will give you a pretty good idea of the kind of numbers they have.

I don't use Alexa for anything; it is a load of you know what.

By "quality of their traffic", I didn't mean the "good quality", instead it was a bit bad.
I think they sent like 2-3 real humans and all the rest were robots or something.

Looks like someone needs to make a new program for advertising. Or just stick with google and yahoo, they seem to do the business.

What are the programs that are offering free trials with no commitment? I have yet to see this?

You call them up and if they won't oblige to a free trial you scratch them off the list of companies worth doing.

well ive decided im going to start looking into the possibility of starting a niche PPC network for PDAs, Mobiles and accessories. I shall be spending the next 3 months looking into the matter:

1.) The set-up costs
2.) Fraud detection
3.) E-mailing webmasters to ask them if they wish to commit their websites to such a program.

Wish me luck.
