Technology to suppress PPC ads appropriately

Is it possible to suppress ad if we show up in organic results?

Is it possible to suppress our ad from the engines using any software, if our website comes #1 or #2 results in natural search results.

This is specifically to minimize cannibalization as we needn't pay if visitor would have reached us anyway.

No.

You can do negative words so that you don't show for a term that you are aware of. But if you are the only one bidding then at least you are paying the minimum. If you are not the only one bidding then you need to be in there. Many people ignore the paid ads anyway, some people look for the paid ads if they are doing a purchase oriented search. I'd say you are best to b ein there and pay the minimums.
