Unusual ppc clicks

How can I recognize click fraud?

I'm new to using ppc's, and have gone with goclick with a small test. Happy with the results, except I've noticed a referring url showing up often (many times in one day even), for specific keywords. The referring url is for "cybermoo.com", and contains what looks to me to be an affiliate code.

The url leads to an apparent search engine, which requires membership, and offers an affiliate program, with "partners" including goclick, findwhat, and others. It states that "At signup you will be given a search box code and or word directory linking to place on your traffic pages."

Can anyone explain this to me? Anyone familiar with cybermoo.com, its affiliate program, or how it works? What I'm most curious and concerned about is the multiple clicks from an apparent affiliate, which is using up my budget. While I hesitate to yell "fraud", I think it looks suspicious.

Cybermoo? It looks everything but legit. And I would say it is click fraud, why dont you simply cut them off or something?

It looks like Cybermoo is a goclick partner. If its eating up your budget and causing your conversion ratio to go down then you should definitely get in touch with goclick about that particular partner.

I'm sure all over the Internet this type of thing is going on.

This is click fraud however as the clickers are all coming from unique ISP's there is no way for the PPC to pick them out. Only if someone complains to the PPC SE and in many cases that is not going to happen.

It is very hard to block this. I understand Advertisers are not satisfied when they see traffic from such sites but that's part of PPC business. Lots of $ goes to those who sign up for affiliate program to earn. Click and earn. Click again and again...

I should post everything I've learned in those years but you would probably be shocked. If you want me to do it, let me know and I'll risk 1 hour of my time.

Please, FridayNight, do that!
You might help a lot of people (especially small advertisers) who want to pay smaller CPC so they look for cheaper solutions (on Google you are spending about 1$/click or even more for competitive kws on competitve positions).
Instead of getting a good deal with smaller PPC engines, they could lose their money and earn nothing!

If I tell things, then advertisers won't advertise anywhere else than with Google or Yahoo.

Well, I am even more puzzled now....

I just want your opinion. Then, everybody can make it's own decision.
Maybe smaller PPC engines have their ways...., but still, paying 0,03CPC is not the same with paying 10x more on G or Ov.

So I challenge (or kindly ask!) you to share with us some "things"....
