Blue and Yallow Box's in Lycos UK

Does anybody know where these box's come from.

I can see that perhaps they are coming from Overture but im not entirly sure...!

Anyone got any ideas?

I got a call from a company selling these.

It smelled of rip-off - they quoted a few buzz words and pointed me to some examples.

I can't remeber too much about it, but from what I recall, I didn't really believe many of their claims (in terms of the impact it would have on my sites).

I think it's an adwords-esque technique, but the sales side has been outsourced to a 3rd party company.

I would be interested if anyone has tried it out and had any success?

Thats my point. One of our clients got a call from a company trying to sell them to them.

She said that the blue boxes are £250 and the yellow boxes are £800 (i think).

Ive looked over the entire Lycos site and have found nada.

The best thing about the call apparantly was the fact that the sales person said that there was a 40% conversion rate on the adds :P I found that to be highly amusing. The next funny thing was that our client then asked about where the natural results come from at which stage the sales person said "natural results?".

Still I need to know where they are coming from :)
