hi people,

i signed up a few days ago with Blowsearch.com

paid search technology is provided by Mygeek.com the madest company i have seen till now.

so why?

there is no bid that shows up. impossible to know about your competitors. u bid like a blind man.

worse, when u bid 80 cents/click like i did, 90% of traffic is from COOLWEBSEARCH.Com and UMAXSEARCH.Com!

so i email the customer service several times (24 hours passed and no response!)

i first had the idea of advertising on Blowsearch, but it was a stupid idea, because they sent me traffic from notorious click frauders!

i am so disappointed, they looked serious... well one more .... like Kanoodle Enhance... but a luxury click fraud organization, as u dont pay only 5 cents for the traffic.

Sorry for the late reply on this I just saw it on the forums. I am the SVP of Marketing at BlowSearch.

If you have specific questions regarding your account you can feel free to call us anytime at 718.928.0100. Every account has a dedicated Account Representative. All you need to do is pick up the phone and call. We're happy to help.

As far as traffic quality is concerned we are very committed to developing a high quality network. Better than anything currently available in the middle market.

As you may know our advertiser program is currently in Beta. We have been actively building a system designed around the needs of our advertisers. Your feedback is extremely important and your comments have definitely been taken into consideration.
The feature you requested regarding viewing bids is in development and will be launched in the very near future. It has been requested by our other advertisers as well. The model the technology was founded under was developed with another type of system in mind. We are making this available.

MyGeek supplies the back end technology for our advertiser system. As one of their largest partners we have taken an extremely active role in the system's design and implementation. You have tools at tyour disposal you will not see anywhere else.

"Traffic Source Selection" is one of them.
With TSS the advertiser has complete control over where the traffic is coming from. If a specific traffic partner on our network is not performing for you - shut them off. It's under your control.

Another example, if competitors are clicking on your listings, add their IP to a custom block list that you control.

You should make these determinations based on the implementation of our ROI tracking tools and not a general assumption that a specific source of traffic "may have a bad reputation". The fact is, this is what traffic protection and filtering technology is for. Of which we feel we have the best in the industry right now. And soon it will be getting even better.

We're giving the control of PPC back to the advertiser and supplying them with the tools to make informed decisions. Brett knows me as well as Shaq from my days at Kanoodle. I am sure they will both tell you how deeply I am committed to the advertiser's experience and their investment in us. The team at BlowSearch shares this same philosophy. It’s the main reason I decided to work for them.

In my view the only way you will have long term success as a PPC engine is by meeting the needs of your advertisers and listening. We're doing so.

Please call and ask to speak with your representative to clear up any and al issues you may have. You just may not have realized these tools are at your disposal and I hope I helped to clear this up in some way.

hi Joe,

conversion improved, but i got stuck with 2 search engines, while at first i was looking to advertise on Blowsearch.com

Beta ok. hope the bidding system bug will be fixed soon.

with Kanoodle, u know u will never make money with them, but at least they reply your emails in hours and when u yell, they are very respectful, and dont ignore u like u were some accidental advertiser lost in a shark pool.

thanks for your reply, i know Blowsearch fights fraud, but u accept coolwebsearch, engines like "savehits.com", or notorious spyware company engine.

also, when i uncheck boxes not to receive traffic from umaxsearch and coolwebsearch, i get no traffic, whatever the CPC. must be a very important bug. your network is very large, and i cant get no traffic for 50 cents. i told from the beginning to the rep that i planned to spend $700 weekly, but i never reach this amount for obvious reasons i explained above, your advertiser program refuses to send me traffic :)

thanks again for your time!

Thanks for telling me more. In your case I would implement the ROI tracking and try it again. Our Reps can help you tweak your campaign and find out what is working for you and what is not. The key thing is that we need to be able to see the ROI data to help you.

While it's great to have tools like Atlas One Point, ClickTracks, etc. it leaves the search engine's account reps unable to see the data and use it to tweak the network for you. This is a major step to increasing overall ROI and determining traffic quality on any search engine network.

I can't speak to any of the traffic partners we have or their quality. All I know is that if they are on our network they have been deemed to be effective at producing ROI for advertisers. Any partner that falls below a certain threshold of ROI for our advertisers is removed from the network.

Whether you advertise on BlowSearch, Yahoo!, Google, ... I definitely urge everyone to track their results. If I had it my way ROI tracking would be a default requirement for all advertisers before a campaign is even turned on.

siebenburgen, give your Rep here a call and we can address these issues for you and figure out how to make it work the way you need it to. If you want them to conference me in to help I will be glad to take the time. I'd do that for any advertiser.
