Findwhat getting me no clicks!

I'm promoting a new url through Findwhat. The keywords I've chosen cost from $.01 to $.30 though many other keywords in my industry cost substantially more, even over $2.

Now, the trouble is I'm getting *no clicks* at all for keywords where the bid is less than $0.25. For $.30 or so, I'm getting maybe a click every three days. That too from a third rung search engine which I've never heard of and which is PR0 (just shows it's junk). This is for keywords which have 2000 plus searches in a month.

How does one really get any reasonable clicks from Findwhat? I find their ads appear usually on the second page, rarely on the first and then again so lower down in the page a person is hardly going to click. Besides if I have to be listed at No.23, I might as well stick to SEO instead of paying half a buck a click!

What do you do to get some decent clicks? I understand some partners of Findwhat don't list Findwhat advertisers unless they have a minimum $0.15 bid.

I'll appreciate some guidance.

My understanding is that lots of Findwhat partner sites only pickup the top 3-5 listings. I usually drop to 10th if I feel I am being blugeoned for no reason. This reduces the clicks to around zero. I hope this helps.
