here's what i don't quite understand. if you have something like msn which gets its listing fed by inktomi and whoever else (looksmart maybe?) and possible others (i wish i could find that great chart i saw on one of these threads!), what happens if i paid to have my website in both inktomi and let's say looksmart (if applicable) or another engine (is that the correct terminology?)? will both of those listings show up in msn search (relevancy issue aside for a moment)? or does one preclude the other from being listed?

However, in answer to your question - I would assume they have a way of removing duplicate entries for the same site.
Can't be certain though...
