I have used ppc search engines to market affiliate products directly for a few years now. It has its advantages and disadvantages.

One major dissadvantage is I almost never know which keyword term or phrase got me the sale or lead. Now I have a site selling my own products in the works so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to track the converting keyword phrases?

I know that some PPC's such as Findwhat and I believe Overture have some type of code to track ROI but will this tell you exactly what keyword made the sale? Is there a software available to do this? I would really appreciate any help I can get...:) Thanks.

The PPC vendors will only tell you the keyword you bid on, not the actual search phrase. However, there are plenty of alternative tracking services that can do this for you.
