Hello I need to know for websites that have are #1 for certain keywords what is the average CTR.

I want a keyword that no one PPC for and hence I would be #1. The keyword gets about 12,000 seraches every month on Overture and I am not sure on Google but i want to work with this figure for the time being.

I worked it out at about 80% CTR = 9,600 at 0.10 per click = 960.00 monthly

Of that 9,600 we expect a conversion rate of 1% which means about 96 we sell the product at about 9.99 making ourselves a loss when the Merchant charges are deducted.

Are these figures consistent with what others see. I am just at a point of working it down to the wire.

Any thoughts what are industry norm ratios at #1
CTR
CONVERSION RATE

Help out there?

There is no norm.

80% ctr for #1 seems high to me and if you had THAT high of a CTR for your keyword i would bet your conversion rate should be much higher than 1% if your that far targeted.
