I posted this on AdSense wrongly.

I find this weird and interesting. How can Kanoodle pay better to MSNBC. This is very impressive, much more so than K's MarketWatch deal.

Contextual ads on the news is tough, however. There are not as many products and services you'd want to sell in context to the news as you would think.

MSNBC should have picked Google instead.

MSNBC.com should have picked Google instead.

Why? It would be cheaper to buy a second rate ppc engine that's already built in when the time comes ;-)

Because more people advertise on Google then Kanoodle and that = higher bidders and more money. Kanoodle won't make it, IM not saying it's going to happen now or in a year, but watch and you will see then disappear.

Sure. Right now maybe. But Microsoft has made it clear that they screwed up in this whole market and Google has the most to lose so why make Google any more money by using their ppc? Microsoft doesn't need the money right now and when they have their own search I would think they would have their own ppc engine for it. That might just be the Kanoodle one that they can buy cheap and morph into their own.

Microsoft is always looking for more ways to take in more money. They have always been like that and still are! :)
