My conversion rate is slightly better with the PPC listings.
IMO- People clicking on paid listings typically know what they want and are ready to buy. At least on Google where the AdWords listings are completely separated from the regular ones.
When I factor in organic keywords phrases that we don't bid for on PPCs, their traffic and conversation rates are very close for organic vs. PPC.
Keep in mind that the PPC position will also determine which of your listings will pull more traffic.
