MSN Question

I understand that currently MSN is using Overture listings for the "Sponsored Section", but I have heard talk of them starting their own PPC service. Can anyone confirm or refute this?

Also, since Looksmart is being dropped by MSN in January, how will the "natural search" rankings be set. A page rank system like Google?

MSN just recently extended their agreement with Overture so I would expect to see MSN displaying overture results for another year or two..

They'll most likely be using Inktomi results for the short term.. and implementing their own system when it's ready (anybody's guess on time frame)..
