How do traffic from shopping search engines compare with normal PPCs?

We are thinking of advertising on shopping search engines such as shopping.com and pricegrabber.

Right, most of our advertising is spent on google adwords at around $2500 per month. Could anybody tell me how the traffic and conversion rate from shopping search engines compare with Google adwords and Overture?

Afaik, some don't have 'native' traffic, but turn around & list themselves next to you with your keywords on AdWords, Overture, etc.

Keep that in mind, and nope, haven't experimented myself, but - as a customer, I did make 1 purchase via a comparison shopping engine in the last month for an outfit for my baby for the upcoming holiday in the states :)

So for that advertiser, it produced an ROI...
