google hitting my listing on a PPc and I'm charged for it.

I found an unusual number of clicks on some keywords on a PPC account I have(25 click on one keyword and 18 clicks on another in one day) and complained with the PPc.

They answered me that they ran some lookups on the IP addresses. and These IP's appear to be from google.

They are hitting my paid listing and including it in their database. If I would like the PPC can block these google IP addresses from getting to my listings.

This is the information the PPc got back from the lookup.

IP address:
Host name: crawler11.googlebot.com

is this possible? What should I do Block Googlebot IP?

thanks in advance for your advice

Complain to your PPC company.

They should be blocking the redirection script (the URL that charges you and then forwards the visitor to your website) with robots.txt.

Your PPC should have no trouble at all in blocking the IP addresses for the googlebot. Any of the decent sized ones have this technology readily available.
