The deal with Mamma.com is pan-European and will see the search engine deploy Espotting results to its European user base. Mamma.com uses technology to geographically segment its users, and displays search results relevant to their country of origin. Espotting will provide the top six most relevant commercial listings to Mamma users.
A separate deal with European-focused search engine Euroseek, will see Espotting search results and targeted content integrated across all channels and directories in Euroseek's eight European countries and languages.

Euroseek channels and directories, it's the same as with the Lycos deal: not directly search related. I really don't think such ads will get much clicks.
Similar to the Content ads Google does this is eseentially a mixture of banner ads and classical PPC. Probably okay for branding purposes, but for conversions...?
Mamma.com...hm. Have I ever seen a hit from Mamma?
