I have been doing some experiments with a rampant click fraud and have successfully used my competitor to reduce my pay per click 500% whilst maintaining same position. Click Fraud I suggest is just another tool to be used against your competitor.

If you are clicking on your competiters ads that is no differnt than breaking into his house and stealing money. That is wrong and criminal.

It might be wrong, in your judgement (and in most people's, if the intent is to drain your competitor's funds). It's hardly criminal to click on your competitor's ads though.

It is. It is your competiter you know who they are. You know their url already. It is wrong. It is criminal but too small an ammount for one click or so. Even if it cost them $10K it would be very hard to prove unless you were stupid enough to do it from your corp static ip.

Clicking on an ad, competitor or not, isn't fraud by any stretch, nor is it illegal And just because an underground community of geeks decides to label clicking on competitor's ads as 'click fraud' doesn't make it fraud, or illegal either.

Don't get caught up in the hysteria over some term somebody made up.

Laugh, Nope I am using the competitors aggressive click fraud campaign against them. All they are doing is helping me. Google discounted the fraudlent clicks they do each day meanwhile counts them in clickthrought rate leaving me able to reduce my keyword bids. Anyway I'm loving click fraud so far.

Pirates, this is really no different than shoplifting from a competing corner grocer or tearing down roadside billboards of a competitor.
Criminal IMO and you are no better than one.
The fact you have any support at all on this forum is shocking.

Pirates your initial post implies that you are clicking on your competiters ads. If you would have explained that better you would not have us talking about this. I would be carefull Google may not be discounting all the clicks. You need to pay very close attention to your logs and the adwords control panel.
