I need to advertise a service/product to the UK market. Does anyone have any experience with mirago, and if yes...How do their prices on keywords stack up against google.co.uk in terms of effectiveness and pricing?

Mirago have a far higher minimum bid than Google. For that reason and because of the low amount of traffic they receive, they have very few advertisers. Do a search for popular terms like 'DVD' and you will not see a single advertiser or possibly only one - Google must have thousands.
