Espotting/MivaUK

They have been legit...But now...

I am furious. My account got drained around 100 GBP in a day due to what looks like fradulent clicks.

I look up IP addresses in my logs and I get countries like Pakistan, Uruguay, Amsterdam, Puerto Rico and many others except the UK.

I emailed MivaUK to request refund. I hope they don't take forever and get stingy with refunds. I asked for a thorough review of my account.

I just hope they can eliminate these pests. When doing a little poking around, I did notice this common denominator...Traffic was being sent to me via this web site

That's where these fradulent clicks came from. That looks like a traffic partner that should not be trusted!

It would do you well to read some of the other Miva (FindWhat) threads in this forum. All you are ever going to get with Miva is bad traffic.

Wasn't Espotting supposed to be respected? Or did they lose that respect because of the Findwhat/Miva takeover?

espotting was ok when they were on yahoo uk
now they are miva and they just provide results to thousands of cloned directories and scraper sites
not worth even thinking about

you generally only hear the bad things about Miva....which is a shame. they have lots of happy customers, and their traffic police are much better these days.

Exmoorbeast - you use them currently? I mean you seem to recommend them highly, so what type of ad do you run with them?

If you run an ad, I'd be interested in what amounts and quality of visitors they send you - perhaps you would be kind enough to report your findings.
