hi all,

i am making entirely a new website, i am very specific on the keywords of my website per page.

i have found few tools on internet which can compare the density of two websites like www.keyworddensity.com Can you please visit this website and tell me what is the % at which i should come #1 in Google & Yahoo?

by this i can atleast compare the existing top website with my website and make sure that my website shall come #1 with on the page analysis.

My problem is:

- Can anyone find me a tool better than this?
- Also, can any tool tell me speficially that by comparing the two website (i.e. my website & my Competitor), on the basis of on the page basis.

i need this for the reason is the content that i am making i can easily edit that as per the requirement so that i can come #1.

hasit, Welcome to Webmasterworld.

I would suggest browsing the various libraries inside these forums and reading here at least an hour a day.

There is so much more involved in gaining a #1 position for any site than keyword density. There are many tools to analyze keyword density, there is one in this site as well.

Keyword density is only one factor, and not a factor for some search engines, you will never keyword density yourself to a #1 position.

hi,

i can understand that here needs some research to be done for top 20 or 10 websites, but please this thing in mind that the results of search engines also keep on changing.

what i understand is that any search engine have basically only 2 basis on which it dose rank a webpage/website.

1) on the page basis
This can be properly optimizing for keywords & meta tags, content and stuff which are on the page.

2) off the page basis
This can be like, Page Rank of the website, external linking of the website and many more which are not into the page but relate to the page externally.

what i am asking is the 1st tool. means i am looking for a tool which can analysis the on the page basis and can compare that with the existing #1 and can tell me. I am sure there should a tool like that.

what do you think?

thanks, Hasit
