If a site consists of 5 different pages, can the title of each page be completely different? like

1 best playstation games
2 multiplayer games
3 dreamcast games
4 cheatcodes
5 previews

or will google treat the page as spam. The reason I am asking is that I ranked first for a short while in google, but now it seems like google doesn't index all of my pages. (i still rank good on the indexed pages though)

not spam as long as it is a descriptive title and represents the page content. I find that the title is terribly important for FAST as well as Google. Just keep it real and I think you'll be fine. There's a thread around here where Brett shows ht relevance of title and how to most effectively title your pages, but I can't remember where.

Ideally, the pages should each have a unique title relevant for what's on the page. Here's a recent discussion on titles with links to a few others:
