where to find french keywords

I checked wordtracker for a french word, and while it did recognize the word, *very* few words came up!

I am doing a site for a client in English and French and am wanting to optimize for both...I don't know how I'm going to do this if I cannot find keywords in french ;-)

Anyone have any ideas? I could play around in Google french canada or Yahoo french...but something faster would be nice!

Best free tool available at this point is at Espotting.fr. Last I looked it was so much better than Overture for French (and German as well).

I would also take it with a grain of salt. Since I know you are canadian, remember that quebecois and francais are not the same thing. You have to keep that in mimd when doing research.

yes, upon further investigation, espotting shows alot of *.fr domains. I misunderstood and thought it was a tool such as wordtracker to determine keywords, but it would appear to be a director - with a PR0 *grin*

There are a few "local" french search engines, not that anyone ever uses them ;-) I need French keywords!
