Hi,

Has anyone been bump for over stuffing keywords - density too high? Hope to get some answers...take it as a survey.

Also my density is pretty high but is necessary for certain reasons. However I had added more 'normal' copy and am trying to retain my density. I have added some images too so I have included more keywords in the alt tags.

Does google weigh normal copy keywords the same as those in the Alt tags?

No, they weigh them differently. Just as they do for anchor text, headers, etc. You don't need to be concerned about being penalized for high keyword density, unless you're using spam techniques (hidden text, et.) Use your keyword phrases as often as you can, but always keep your user in mind. If you do that, you should be fine. Good luck.

thanks Mona for your response.
Just afraid to optimize my site too much in case I step into problem areas without knowing about it.
