Since users are becoming more expert and use more keyphrases instead of single keywords, how do you show results to company directors?

Letīs say you target diferent products in different cities, would you estimate a workload-average per keywords quantity to optimize?

In another words: how do you manage with your boss to stay with a certain number of keywords in order to avoid questions like "this keyword variation is not our list and we are getting bad positions"!

thanks , Kubano.

Wow you really don't want to be micro managed like that. They should just look at the improvement in visitors and sales. I won't deal with anybody that bothers me about position. I don't mind people asking about some major word but not tons of them. I optimize for thousands of words. There is just no way to micro manage on that level. If you want to be number one for every possible term that can come to your site you will need a staff of SEO people. One person can't do that.
