please have a look at the message here [webmasterworld.com...] in which olgeetree makes 2500 pages in 2 hours,

i can only make 10 pages in one hour!

Will Oglee share with us how and what is he doing?

I don't know if this message complies with Policies of this forum, but i am new in this very sub forum, so forgive me for anything bad if i did

I suspect he's using something that allows him to enter the info into a spreadsheet and then the program converts this to HTML.

With him SEOing the pages after.

Try Webgenie, bit pricey but it works a treat.

well,
web genie is a good thing,
but i don't get how could we make so many pages, i don't think that anyone would have so much of content to keep putting 2500 pages everyday onto a website.

Produce a new page every day!?
[webmasterworld.com...]

Do the majority of members find you are adding content for content value from which your clients will benifit ... every single day ... or do you add content strictly for keyword and traffic value?

re-read ogletree's post: about 15% different content on every page. Does that give you a clue?

30,000 pages of "quality content" added monthly. Just what the internet needs.

JuniorOptimizer - Yes, that was my point too. I don't think anybody noticed.

still i don't know of any way to add more than 10 pages of quality content everyday.

that way i will only get around 3000 article after a year, while people would have made lakhs of pages

As long as you are getting 10 quality pages of useful content/products up a day I wouldn't worry. This is probably more than most webmasters. I put a few up a day myself.

If you read the previous posts you will see that Ogletree must be generating these pages with a program and then making them at least 15% different so they are not considered duplicates.

If you have to research, think, and write the content, then you cannot make it to 2,500 pages per hour...10 pages of normal A4 are already great / day / human.

Just a sidenote - Superman won't tell you how he flies :)

>> 2500 pages in 2 hours

Its quite Simple ...

1, First compile a list of 2500 keywords

2 , Just run a program which scrap the top 10 lisings for each keyword search from a semi popular SE ...Use some script which uses this data and spit pages for each kw!

Voila , 2500 pages of unique content are ready :)

I think the point isn't the numbers of pages per hour. But how many unique visitors you can generate from an hour's work. And how much more $ you can generate each month from one hour's work. someone can generate 100 unique visitors from 10 pages, others may need 1,000 pages for 100 unique visitors.

Dejaone that is a great point. Obviously ogletree is using a CMS to generate a page every 5 seconds. These pages are not going to be as good as a handcrafted and specialized page with perfect seo applied to it. But that doesn't matter. As long as the 2500 pages can deliver more traffic than 1 page that takes two hours to handcraft, it is better to work on mass production.

Before people start getting upset about auto-generating and publishing massive amounts of content, I want to say that I am not advocating building so many pages. I am simply explaining the concept behind ogletree's remark.

I just wanted to drop a real quick remark that I think will sum up this entire conversation... quality above quanity.

I have to say I don't scrape or have search result pages and I don't pop anything any direction.

Yours is somewhat less robust way ogle :) , atleast scrapping avoids dupe filter!

I avoid it and it takes less effort than scraping.

Learn Perl. Putting up thousands of pages is easy. After you get the basics down, try to get your hands on high quality content, and repackage it in a way that's useful to visitors. It is possible to have quality and quantity. For example, a site that presents weather information on several locations.

Ditto.

There's tons of high-quality data published by the government that is absolutely unusable by the people, despite the fact they they search for it and sometimes even find it. It's government data, uninterpreted, and horribly presented.

Write a good extraction algo, which pulls the necessary pieces and generates the useful derived data. Wrap those useful bits into a display template with additional useful info about understanding the data, where it comes from, how it was collected, who to contact with questions, etc. and viola'.... thousands of useful pages. Tens of thousands possible.

Done right, it's actually a public service.

Not at all spammy... some people write government grants to do just this, and get paid for it. Others do it for the relevance and traffic.
