Who is using Fast/AllTheWeb for services today?

FAST has been selling licences all over the place this year. It seems that their huge index is part of the deal, used for first or secondary results or world results in case of national search engines.

This happened only yesterday: "Lycos Asia users will have immediate access to the FAST Web Search engine, which replaces Lycos’ internally developed search engine technology. Lycos Asia currently offers ten localized portal sites in nine countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China."

Let's put it all together (since Fast's PR-department wants to keep their successes secret.)

Engine is correct. I see absolutely no sign of FAST at Pepesearch. It's all GoTo.com there!

This is Stephen from FAST...PR has never been one of our strengths. The list looks fairly complete. In addition, we power MWeb, Ajeeb, and Sakhr (all Indian portals). We just closed Telus (2nd largets in Canad) which is represented by myBC.com, Alberta.com, and mtTO.com.

The problem is, so many of our license deals are for large protal networks, like Lycos Europe, which includes 53 sites that FAST is on...make tracking all of them difficult. I'll add more to the list as I think of them.

Welcome to the board

Yes, Web.de is Fast powered. For many searches however directory listings are displayed first. As a result I donīt get as much traffic from them as I would expect judging from their position as top5 site in germany.

though lycos directory is not strictly speaking Fast related, the answer is yes, you will profit from that listing. It might bring some traffic on itīs own and more importantly it will add significantly to your linkpop. So: congrats.
