There's been speculation that Yahoo! will soon be launching Text Ads to the public to buy, like Adwords.

Any word on pricing or other news?

Check it here:
[search.yahoo.com...]

check this one:

[search.yahoo.com...]

3 Ads are served.

[search.yahoo.com...]

No OV, looks like large adwords boxes without the frame. Url is like:
http://rd.yahoo.com/M=221170.2902113.4446940.2854892/D=yahoo/S=2766679:E/A=1520825/R=0/*http:// promo.yahoo.com/[partner-name]/

They are in the same place as adwords, right hand on serps.

Hmmm. All I am seeing is 3 ads for yahoo.

Yahoo SBC Dial DSL
Yahoo Small Biz Email Marketing
Yahoo Store

Are you guys seeing other ads for non-yahoo companies?

Those ads are what I'm seeing... perhaps this is a case of mistaken identity.

These are called "East Module Ads"
Apparently this service has been going on for a while. It starts at $5k/month and goes up from there.

Are you guys seeing other ads for non-yahoo companies?

Go to Yahoo and search for "flowers" and you should be able to see non-yahoo "East Module" ads.

Our campany has had EAST module ads, they just stick out a little more since yhaoo is less cluttered now. And as far as the 5K ad campains a month I'm not too fond of them, it ended up being 11Cents per view for our campaign which was 'low' they said. hMmmmm we didnt see much clickthough on them though.

However! I feel warm and fuzzy that Yahoo will soon have text based advertisements served like Overture ads within the results. hMmmm

Want a good keyword to test? Try Credit Card ;)

Part of the problem are all the code errors. You'll have to try a different browser if you can't see them.

All the ads I have seen have been for Yahoo! options, or direct partnerships like the mass emailer. that company handles the email marketing for Yahoo! Store, and is directly tied into the interface.

Hey EliteWeb, I'm not sure what you mean with the credit card search? What does this mean:

text based advertisements served like Overture ads within the results

thanks!
