PR update start?
yup, seems more like a temp flux, couple of my site's inner pages show a PR of 4 (increased from 0) and the inner pages still show 2 as before.
more views on this wud be nice...

I'm also struggeling with a next-to-nill PR on a site where I changed the domain in September. I have 301s in place for .nu to .se, and the main page (that actually have quite a lot of good incoming links) seem to be stuck at the initial PR2.
I hope it's still rolling out though and that more changes are to come.
but another site, homepage PR is 2, but some inner pages has PR 4, all of the two sites are lanuched about half a year.
another site has a 301 redirect from an old site.
Have people come up with any reasons or theories why this would be happening?
Would you be kind to mention the IP of your default Google or the datacenters where you see PR update?

As far as I'm concerned I see no PR change for 6 months but I suspect my toolbar being a little flaky.
BTW Marcia>> that is a very good question, I had a few theories in the past but very little ground and experience to elaborate - I saw sites with similar 'issues' doing very well after the sandbox effect disapeared.
My PR has returned from 0 :) to a 5 on my main site with Canonical problems.
Canonical problems still remain but touch wood the new PR may help solve these issues?

I've got one, and it's a bit embarrasing, since I only see this happening on a site where I have done a 301 from another tld, and actually, as it turns out done it badly.
I just dicovered that a request for
www.mydomain.nu/subdirectory/ gets redirected to www.mydomain.se/ instead of going to the right place:
www.mydomain.se/subdirectory/
Well... sigh.
Oh, and the update isn't rolling for me. I see the new PR for my sites on just about every DC since yesterday.

Not quite the ones I saw... but almost. I'm still hoping for one domain though.
Yay - I should say almost aswell really. EG. Webmasterworld was predicted a PR8 - people are posting the export as about the same time these figures disappeared.

Something strange is going on. Some pages have PR updated on all DCs - while others are on about 4/5ths.
It looks like only sites that had a PR 0 are geting an update!
That might be it actually.
I have a PR7 that has lost almost all of it's incoming links since the last update. It shouldn't be worth more than PR4 or PR5 today, but still holds it PR7.

Does anyone have a page that got lower PR?
I see quite a similar situation. My new sites, active on or before 10 Mar 06, begin to have PR shown in many DC this time and those active on or after 16 Mar 06 still show PR0. The ones with new PR are at PR4, but I doubt that these PR4 would be accurate as honestly they should be at PR2-3 only.
For example, these DCs show new backlinks:

Incomplete PR iteration of the page/site for that cycle and PR was exported prematurely for that round of PR update. It would take one more update before you'll see the right and sensible PR for that page or site. This is only reasoning, not theories. I saw this happening quite a few times especially to, but not necessarily to, the new sites in the past.
