Accross the 100 searches I have done, I have seen just one page of one site drop out as not needed. Just one. That fixes about 0.01% of the problem.
>> Zero improvement with Jagger3 in handling in Supplementals. <<
In these same searches I see just one page of one site that has turned URL-only. Just one. Again that fixes about 0.01% of the problem.
I am prepared to believe that more data will be mixed in over the next few days. However, so far, I really think Google has totally missed the point.
You gotta be joking. That is the set of results that includes ancient supplemental results from almost two years ago. That data slipped back into the SERPs about 3 months ago; mostly in error I would say.
Nothing new there at all. It is all really old junk.

The trend seems to be for a site (that was ranking well pre jagger) that it may drop out the index for all but its title and anchor text. It's as if the body text is dropped completely. Then, as the new data kicks in, the site starts to reappear, page by page, usually in 66.102.7.99 and then migrates to others. For all we know, the last lump of new data could be dealing with your site that is still not appearing, or it could knock you down 20 places with new sites as they get fixed.
Jagger3 does not exist until the last site is reintroduced into the index.
Matt/GG are not being misleading when they say Jagger3 is not visible. It ain't until the final data is processed.
Less than 2 hours ago, Matt Cutts posted in his blog that Jagger3 was now visible at [66.102.9.104...] ... and had been since late last night.
Reseller,
You have written in the last month or so about 100 pages of content for WebmasterWorld.Just imagine the traffic on your site if you used the time to write 100 page for your own site
Very well said.

The internet is about: Learn...share.. and grow together!
Actually I have created two "A" mini-sites during the last two months or so. Not sure yet wehther they are going to be 24/7 money machines to finance my next NY visit ;-)
I saw much more movement in the past few weeks on MSN and yahoo. And google has gotten all this attention, for what was in the end not that big of a change.
The trailing "/" problem I mentioned earlier is now live on G UK. Positions 7 and 24 for the same page.Check the URL is identical. I checked one indexed at number 1, but its also indexed for the same keyword at 34, BUT the second one is from the homepage, latest listings, hence a different URL, but with the '/' at the end of the latter one.
I know GG has mentioned 66.102.9.104, But has anyone noticed the massive improvements on 66.102.7.104?
I checked a bunch of keyword combos and .9.104 and .7.104 had the same rankings for everything I checked. So something definately there.. if it has slowly started creeping there as well might be a good guess... It seems that way at least.
we are seeing some decent KWs at 66.102.9.99 after being down for weeks. while we wait and hope for propagation, we wonder wether this fixed canonical issues for good or not.
currently, even on 66.102.9.99, we have a different backling report for domain.com and www.domain.com.
also, domain.com has a PR0 (ha-ha!) and www.domain.com has a PR5.
if i do a 301 redirect of domain.com to the www.domain.com page, do i risk causing a problem to www.domain.com SERPS in the short run? or its the way to go and the hell with it!?
I saw much more movement in the past few weeks on MSN and yahoo
Wasn't it also the point of all this? :-)...hehe, business is business after all, undertandable.
Results on 66.102.9.104 are not bad at all overall, Although I was expecting a little more clean up on the following:
- My spam reports of major cheaters (Well, not ready to forget this one guys ;-) )
- Geo targeting: still see some websites who gained rankings in non-english/non-latin alphabet languages creating additional pages in english (or just inserting a few english words) and they are given far too much credit on SERP, obviously they are not very relevant, I noticed Korean, polish, Hebrew (the rest is difficult to determine for me) - Maybe Googleguy/MC can tell if there is something cooking to monitor this in the Googleplex.
I suspect a number of other webmasters check datacenters the same as you do but do not take the time to share and thoughts or predictions with others of us on this board
I must admit i am not a data center watcher myself but when you take the time to post i will quickly use the info you have provided to check my own little serps world for up down or the same on 2 of my keywords
so thanks
steve
