My site which came back on december 26 update, seems to have disappeared again on this data center [216.239.53.99...] . Its notwhere to be found even in allinanchor, allintitle etc? I see majot change on that data center, is this a new update?

"the effects of several google bombs are seen on those dcs where they weren't seen before the update. currently google.com shows the effects. "

can you elaborate on the bomb part and the difference?

Also, those dc's do not seem to be serving results to google.com, walkman. I know this as I rank high on termson those dc's that normally bring thousands of daily visitors and am getting next to ZERO G visitors on those sites...

This data center has what I recently saw and what I expect [216.239.39.104...]

this [216.239.37.99...] is showing some terrible stuff ( for me )

The interesting thing ( to me ) is that both have updated the pages with my recent deep crawl on the 6th and 7th and I am seeing my new pages on both.

Have you checked the incoming links to those pages? Do they match. My guess is they don't match and that the data centers are still in the process of calculating PR which would account for the change in rank on different data centers.

Still dancing for several data centers I've been watching and I haven't heard any fat ladies singing.

Is there a reason you guys keep baiting Brixton? Do you really think he needs encouragement to post more of the same? :(

Walkman...

I'm now in all of the data centers you listed save [64.233.161.105...] and [64.233.161.147....]

Yesterday I went from showing up in four of them to none to today's encouraging results. These DCs are definately post-allegra results.

For those of you who think it's a pathetic waste of time to check dc results ... that took about 5 minutes, far less time than I waste watching commercials during a single half hour TV show (and oh so much more entertaining).

I don't know about you, but get a serious buzz watching my main bread winner coming back in the planet's most popular search engine.

Liane thanks for the tip.

I just checked backlinks and they are the same.

All and all I think I know where I stand now.

Some wins, some loses nothing major either way though for me.

At the risk of incurring a duplicate penalty on WW, since I cannot edit my old post here it is with an addition (since this *is* supposed to be Google news rather than my-site news):

Very consistent visitor drops on my site following this Google update (average loss from Google is 51%):

Thu 3 Feb: 28%
Fri 4 Feb: 30%
Sat 5 Feb: 27%
Sun 6 Feb: 26%
Mon 7 Feb: 28%

(compared to the average of the same day, previous 3/4 weeks) (actual visitor numbers in 4 figures daily).

I am experiencing the same as Rollo, my site has made dramatic moves in all the DCs except for the two that he mentioned.

Google.com still shows a ranking of #16 for my main keyword while all the DCs(except for those two) show it as #6.

Does anybody think that the anchor: keyword has any relevance with future results after Allegra Update?

Those two have the worst disappearing sites from what I see.

I'm not there either. Something happened or I copied the wrong line. Either way, My bad ;). The fact that we're not alone, most likely means that it's a glitch.
