Nice job -- I think they forgot something though ;) Or where did they hide or, who has it (;

Looks like they sent that David to a body building studio first. That often has a shrinking effect on some non-muscular parts... ;)

Michaelangelo said his art was always in the stone, he just let it out. He simply removed that which was hiding it from us. Google has done the same with the web.

I do think the edge anti-aliasing could have been executed a bit smoother. Not quite up to Mic's standards.

I think its a marvelous logo. Classic, tasteful and meaningful in more ways than one.
I think Google is sending a message to "Goliath", that like David, Google will take on all attackers ... and win! Clever message. :)

Now where is the dance! Daniel Dulitz, er GoogleGuy said there would be both a dance and also a new logo to celebrate the holiday, what ever holiday that is!

HOLY S*it!
Did you folks see this lol:
The Michelangelo Buonarroti Guestbook is now permanently closed. It is unfortunate that the discourse became so vulgar and juvenile, that it has become impossible for us to maintain (delete the inappropriate posts).
They had to close their guestbook already: [michelangelo.com...]
Whos to blame? upset people about the google update? or google? lol.

Hmm...that logo is an image of a statue of a *naked* man. I never thought Google would stoop to using porn for marketing. ;)

LOL rfgdxm1 .
Anyone know of any archive of these kinds of Google images? I tried google.com/logos but can't get a directory listing. In a search I found a link to [google.com...] , but that seems to have been removed.
