Only AOL could screw up Google this badly.

It almost looks like from the "fonts" example and a few others I am looking at that the first two "AOL keyword listings" are used on very popular keyword searches and are almost always completely irrelevant or nearly so. Plus they are not identified as commercials at all. I agree this should get them into hot water with FTC i would think. Maybe we will see some changes there soon.

OK so i missed it and don't feel like reading all these pages. Are you saying google adwords are mixed in with the normal search results?

Nope Adwords are at the top and clearly marked in a different section. "AOL Keywords" are at the top of the actual search listing and not identified as such. For an example, try the one someone gave earlier and search for "fonts".

It actually makes their whole SERP as a whole look pretty irrelevant, as people would usually scan the top listings first.
