I noticed my very well performing site for 100s of Reginal Keyword lost its Index from Google Cache 3 days back.

Today whole site has disappeared from Google, NOTHING in cache, NOTHING indexed, NO referals.

1) I saw the Fresh Tag on index page on 6th May
2) Index not in Cache on 8th may
3) Whole site about 300 Pages out of Google / completely disappeared, nothing in cache.

Can this be a Sudden Death Penalty? what could be the possible reasons?
I can rule out that BAD links is not at all a problem.

Just an update
I saw my site to be grey on toolbar sometimes today...but sometimes it shows original PR6.

Also,
I read the holy thread by caveman which says ::
>>> Could you be suffering from a duplicate content penalty?
Some practices or occurances that can cause problems in this regard include:
• Use of a single, site-wide template

Is it an eestablioshed fact?

You might want to get some backlinks that are not on links pages or from your own sites or from forums.

Hi,

I was just checking backlinks on google toolbar of some pages of my site.....while checking backlink, I got this below message on 2 pages from my site.

" The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.
If the problem persists, please mail error @ google .com and mention this error message and the query that caused it."

The pages still have PR but i wonder what causes this message and should I mail google about this?

"You might want to get some backlinks that are not on links pages or from your own sites or from forums."

1) I can see majority of Links to my Site coming from some of the authoratative sites and linked naturally.

2) I have a very few sites (5-6) on different focus which are no way heavily interlinked. Its obvious that you may want your Visitors to see other sites too, so you create a Link to them, like from Home Page only.

3)Sometimes LINK HUNTERS link you without your permissio... but I have never crosslinked to a Forum or a Shitty stuff. Could you please Sticky me your find?

And lets face it! You certainly need some Backlinks as a core of SEO.
