I'm wondering if anybody here might have some ideas on unfiltered search results on G.

You can get different SERPs from unfiltered results vs. standard search. I'm wondering if anybody has some insight into the unfiltered SERPs algo.

Also, the "site search" SERP's. That one can to bring up pages out line with the standard ranking algo.

- all i know is that unfiltered allows for duplicates (if it's not the adult filter you're talking about that is)

Yes, as you say, unfiltered brings up dup pages. The other thing is site search, which seems to use a different algo which puts more weight on page text as opposed to inbound anchor text.

I was hoping to get some more imput on this. ... ...

I'd like to know more specific details as well - it's not the most discussed subject or the most documented one.

I agree with your observation that site searches have more weight on on-page than incoming, that's exactly what i see too.
