has anyone heard about some new guidelines?

I heard that Google have posted some new guidelines surrounding 404 pages. Has anyone found any information on this?

Nope, haven't heard anything.
I place a page giving links to various key areas on my site.

Let me know if anyone hears anything.

A client mentioned that he had seen something about new Google guidelines on 404 pages on this site. Presumably it might be a spamming issue.
