I would like to understand more about links and how they should be made so that Google can read them. What about the following three. Can these all be read by Google?

1. <a href="http://www.google.com" class="class1">To Google</a>
2. <a href="http://www.google.com" onfocus="this.blur();">To Google</a>
3. <a href="google.com" class="class1" onfocus="this.blur();">To Google</a>
4. <a href="google.com" class="class1" onfocus="this.blur();" onmouseover="window.status='to Google'; return true" >To Google</a>
5. <a href="google.com" class="class1" onfocus="this.blur();" onmouseover="window.status='to Google'; return true" onclick="this.target='_self';">To Google</a>

Could anyone comment?

all 5 yes - however, we do not know (some suspect) that all 5 may have minor "tweaks" attached to them (upgrades/downgrades in rankings).

3, 4, and 5 all do not link to google, they link to the page 'google.com' in your current directory. Don't forget the [....]

Why would you want to put add 'onfocus"this.blur();"'? do you have something against keyboard navigators?

Yes Dr. Brain your are right. I forgot the [....] I want to use this "blur" code because I think it's nicer if this ugly dotted square doesn't appear with the onClick event.
Could anyone still comment which links are more favourable for pageranking and which less?
