Googlebar and directory PR not same

I have noticed there is a difference between Googlebar PR and Google directory PR, googlebar says my website is PR5 and the directory says PR4.

Any clues why?

This is not about the emeralda update since this have been the case for the last month when I first saw it.

The directory has not been updated with the new (Esmerelda) PR values yet. It usually happens a few days after the dust has settled on an update.

I haven't noticed anything unusual with the directory this month though - it was updated just after update Dominic as usual, although I did notice very small changes in toolbar PR on some sites after that.

directory is scaled on seven I think
