I think its time for the serious update thread.
I would say best leave it another day looking at the current thread! I feel sorry for googleguy...
So, do you think that google have taken a new rdf dmoz dump? Presumably that won't factor in this month, so I won't get my nice directory description next to my site in the SERPS just yet?

This may or may not be connected to the fact that although I have lots of pages indexed the home page is not showing up in SERPS for the key phrase that had it on page one before...
Any other evidence about the DMOZ dump in use?
There are links on many search result pages that link to pages in the directory that don't exist anymore.
That has been the case for a while as google was using a dmoz dump from Feb/March and dmoz have since had a major clean up and deleted a fair number of sites.
I'm not sure of the timings for google - whether they grab a dmoz dump before or after the dance, but what I have learned so far is that it is usually after.
So I guess it will be another week or two before the google directory is updated with the next rdf dump, and another cycle before the dmoz backlinks and descriptions appear in the SERPS.

Following your other message I guess I will have to be patient as ever. My point was that it *seems* to have reverted to an earlier version, as I did see the .com address in Google's version at some point.
cheers,

There was no RDF dump between 2002 September and 2003 February so this isn't possible.
Since that time, at least 3 RDFs were produced every month, except a few went missing late-April to mid-May this year.
